Sorry it's been a while since I last wrote. A lot has happened and I'll fill you all in later.

But first, I want to tell you about my little brother named Dexter. He is 5 and he likes to try to escape from different places. He just escaped from the Army. He was in the Army because our dad sent us off to the Army. Dexter didn't like it there, so he left and came to live with me. Now, he helps me find food, but I always have to cook it or it will come out as a big, black crisp.

I don't have a house; I live in the back of an old army truck. I can drive so I move every time I see someone coming down the road. No one comes very often so I can usually stay places for three to four months.

I'll try to write more soon. See you later!

The Second Beginning

Dear Journal,

Today, Dr. Smith has invited me over for dinner. Since all I have is my Army uniform to wear, I guess I'll wear that. I'll tell you all about our dinner later.

When I was in the prison camp in Britain, they had me putting wheels on their army jeeps. That was good because the other thing I could have been doing was cleaning the bathrooms. Now, if Dr. Smith and I are driving and we have a wheel problem, then I can fix the wheels really fast.

Now, I'm off to my car to drive to his dinner party. He lives about 2 hours away.

See you at Dr. Smith's house,
Ike

The beginning

Hi, I'm Ike, Dr. Alabama Smith's helper. He rescued me in WWII from a prison camp in Britain.

These postings will be updates of Ike's adventures and history. There might even be some from Dr. Smith.

See you at my house,
Ike
